Russia provided Ukraine with a list of residents of the village of Grabovske in Sumy Oblast who were taken away by Russian military personnel, and also reported where and in what conditions they are being held.

This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets.

In an interview, he said that the Russian side had provided photos and videos of communication with these people, as well as information about providing them with food, water, medicine, and living conditions.

According to Lubinets, there are 52 civilians, including no children. All of them are currently in one of the front-line regions of the Russian Federation and formally have the status of civilians.

The Ombudsman noted that the Russian side officially stated that there were no restrictions on these people. After that, Lubinets appealed to the Russian Human Rights Commissioner, Tatyana Moskalkova, with a demand to urgently return the citizens to the territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, he suggested that Russia may impose certain conditions on Ukraine for the return of the deported villagers.

It was previously reported that before deporting civilians from the village of Grabovske in Sumy region, the Russian military gathered people in the premises of a local church . After that, the occupiers took them towards Russian territory.

As a reminder, the village of Grabovske, located in the Krasnopil district of the Sumy region, has come under the control of the Russian army.
