According to three sources close to Svyrydenko, as of Tuesday morning, July 14, she has no intention of moving to diplomatic work in Washington. However, the sources do not specify whether this means that the prime minister has already turned down President Volodymyr Zelensky.

At the same time, the publication’s interlocutor in the President’s Office reported that one of the reasons for the personnel changes in the government was the need to appoint a new Ukrainian ambassador to the United States.

This position is currently held by Olga Stefanishyna.

There have been no official comments from the President’s Office or Yulia Svyridenko herself regarding this information so far.
