Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated the need to strengthen mobilization, recruiting, new contracts for the army, and high-quality training.
He wrote about this in Telegram.
“The enemy continues its offensive, so we have no other choice but to strengthen our defense capabilities and strengthen our army in order to continue to repel full-scale Russian aggression,” the Commander-in-Chief noted.
According to him, the duration of basic military training has already been increased to 51 days. Among other things, there is professional training and an adaptation period in units.
Syrsky emphasized that it is worth improving this process, increasing the level of instructors and equipment of training centers.
He separately noted that the implementation of a comprehensive program for the adaptation of military personnel at the beginning of the military service is an important component.
Earlier, Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasized the need to accelerate the construction and equipping of shelters in training centers.
