“It must end”: Ukrainian Foreign Ministry comments on US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that the actions of the Iranian regime provoked US strikes on nuclear program facilities.

This is stated on the department’s website.

As noted, Ukraine believes that it is necessary to put an end to Iran’s nuclear program so that it no longer threatens other states.

The Foreign Ministry recalled that efforts to combat nuclear proliferation in Iran have been ineffective for years. At the same time, the United States warned in the spring of the consequences in the absence of constructive steps.

The department is convinced that the US and Israel have given a clear signal to Iran that it is unacceptable to continue its policy of destabilizing the situation in the Middle East.

“Iran is an accomplice in the crime of aggression against Ukraine. The Iranian regime provides military assistance to Russia, including supplying UAVs and technologies that Russia systematically uses to kill people and destroy critical infrastructure,” the ministry added.

It is emphasized that ending the Russian-Ukrainian war requires determination, leadership, and greater pressure, in particular, increasing sanctions against the Russian Federation and strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Recall that the United States Air Force attacked Iran’s nuclear infrastructure , including the most protected facility in Fordow.

At the same time , Donald Trump’s administration is preparing for a potential response from Iran in the next 48 hours.

By the way, the Yemeni Houthis have entered the war in the Middle East and announced attacks in the Red Sea if the US intervenes in the conflict with Iran.

Later, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said that the United States’ strikes had succeeded in destroying Iran’s nuclear program .
