July will start with a heatwave: when to expect relief

Hot and mostly dry weather will remain in Ukraine on July 1. The air temperature in most regions will rise to +30…+35 degrees, and precipitation is expected only in some regions.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

According to her, the first day of July will not bring a significant cooling – the country will continue to remain under the influence of a hot air mass.

“During the first day of July, +30+35 degrees are expected. Precipitation is unlikely, only local thunderstorms will occur in Transcarpathia,” Didenko noted.

Sunny and hot weather is forecast for Kyiv on July 1. Thermometers in the capital will rise to approximately +33 degrees.

At the same time, the situation will begin to change in the coming days. According to the weather forecast, a cold atmospheric front will approach Ukraine on July 2, which will gradually ease the heat.

“The heat will subside first in the western regions, and during July 3-4 in most regions of Ukraine,” she said.

However, dangerous phenomena are possible due to a sharp change in weather conditions. Natalka Didenko warned that heavy showers, thunderstorms, and squalls may occur against the backdrop of intense heat and the passage of an atmospheric front.

“During such intense heat, heavy showers, squalls, and thunderstorms are possible as the atmospheric front approaches,” the forecaster emphasized.
