“Just complete freaks”: Zelenskyy reacted to the attack on a school in Sumy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted sharply to a Russian airstrike on Sumy, in which one of four KABs hit a school. The attack killed two people and injured six others, including three children.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, four guided bombs hit the center of Sumy. One of the strikes hit a school building where classes were in progress at the time.

Children and teachers were taken to shelters in advance. In total, about 100 people were evacuated from the school in time.

The president also reported that Russian strikes had hit the city’s private sector.

At the time of his statement, two people were known to have died and six were injured , including three children .

“Russian terrorists are just complete freaks. To hit children, schools, ordinary houses like that,” Zelensky said.

He called on the US, Europe and other partners to increase pressure on Russia and respond with more than just statements.

Earlier, “Pryamiy” reported that Russian troops struck a school in Sumy. According to initial reports, about 40 students were in shelter at the time of the strike, and they were not injured.
