Kallas commented on the change of government in Ukraine

The European Union’s top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, said that forming a government is an internal matter for each state.

This is how she commented on personnel changes in the Ukrainian government, reports European Pravda.

According to Kallas, it is important for the EU that Ukraine continues to implement the necessary reforms, as this is key to advancing the European integration process.

“It’s also important for us that work on reforms continues, because we want to advance the enlargement agenda, so we need to make sure that Ukraine implements reforms on its part,” she noted.

The head of European diplomacy also emphasized that the European Union is ready to cooperate with any Ukrainian government that is formed.

“At the same time, we have to cooperate with those people who are appointed by the people or the government, so we will have to work with those people,” Kallas said.

As reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a change in the country’s political strategy and personnel changes in the government and law enforcement agencies . According to him, these changes should ensure the implementation of new domestic and foreign policy priorities.

It should be added that following the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, a new head of government has not yet been officially selected. According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, four potential candidates for the prime minister’s position are currently being considered.
