Kerch Bridge Blocked After UAV Attack in Crimea — Media Reports

According to eyewitnesses, explosions were heard in Kerch, Sevastopol, and Feodosia, as well as near Alushta and Gvardiyskoye. In particular, in Sevastopol, a powerful explosion was heard in the area of Cape Fiolent. Local residents claim that the windows shook from the blast wave.

In Kerch, according to eyewitnesses, in addition to explosions, shooting was heard. After reports of an attack, traffic on the Kerch Bridge was suspended.

In addition, a large-scale fire is reported in Feodosia. According to monitoring channels, the fire may have occurred after a strike on the area of the former 13th military town on the Kerch Highway, where Russian military equipment was allegedly located.

Also, within two hours, eyewitnesses reported at least four strong explosions in the area of the village of Malorichenske near Alushta, near a large electrical substation. Explosions and shooting were also recorded in the area of Gvardiyskoye.

In particular, the occupation authorities of Crimea have not officially commented on the causes of the explosions, possible hits, and the consequences of the night attack.

It was previously reported that drones attacked the Russian city of Yaroslavl on the night of August 6. According to media reports, one of Russia’s largest oil refineries may have been hit.
