On the night of June 11, bridges in occupied Crimea were hit, as well as ferries connecting the peninsula with the Kherson region.
The Crimean Wind Telegram channel writes that the bridge at the entrance to Krasnoperekopsk from the Armyansk side was damaged.
In turn, Radio Liberty’s Crimea.Realities project reports on the hit on a bridge in Armyansk itself in northern Crimea.
It is noted that during the night, the occupied Crimea and Sevastopol were attacked by drones and missiles. Explosions were heard in Sevastopol, Bakhchisarai, Simferopol and Armyansk. After the attack, a fire broke out in Simferopol, and electricity was cut off in some areas of Sevastopol.
The head of the administration of the captured part of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, reported drone attacks on four bridges – across the North Crimean Canal in the Preobrazhenka and Myrne districts, a road bridge in the Perekop – Armyansk direction, as well as a bridge near the settlement of Stavky.
“According to preliminary information, there is damage,” he wrote.
Because of this, traffic was temporarily blocked.
In recent weeks, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been actively striking at transport routes that provide connections with occupied Crimea. In particular, the city in the Chongar region has been attacked several times, and traffic along it remains blocked.
There are also reports of fuel shortages in Crimea due to logistics problems.
Earlier , “Pryamiy” reported that drones of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine struck a bridge in the Chongar area, which connects temporarily occupied Crimea with the Kherson region. The attack damaged the bridge deck, causing the occupation authorities to temporarily block traffic.
In addition, in the Chonhar district in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, the bridge was again damaged as a result of a repeated nighttime drone attack.
