The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that recent Russian missile strikes on energy infrastructure have destroyed important equipment, causing serious power outages. In connection with this, hourly power outage schedules are being introduced in the region.
He wrote about this in Telegram .
“The situation in the Kherson region’s energy system remains difficult. Due to the destruction of equipment by Russian strikes, hourly power outage schedules have been introduced,” he noted.
Prokudin also reported that specialists from Khersonoblenergo JSC are currently working on forming clear outage schedules. They should be published on June 12 so that residents of the region can plan their lives and work in advance.
Emergency restoration work is currently underway in the region. Power engineers are working around the clock to stabilize the situation as quickly as possible and restore stable power supply to all settlements.
Recall that Russian shelling of Ukrainian energy facilities has been ongoing for several months. The situation remains particularly critical in the south of the country, where infrastructure often becomes a target for enemy attacks. The authorities are calling on residents of the regions to remain calm, observe security measures, and consume electricity economically.
