“Kneels before Putin”: Obama spoke sharply about Trump’s policies

Former US President Barack Obama has accused the Donald Trump administration of distancing itself from allies and making concessions to Russia, saying such policies betray Ukrainians who are fighting for freedom and democracy.
Obama said this during a Democratic Party campaign rally in the United States.
“While we are distancing ourselves from key allies like Canada, the White House kneels before Putin and betrays the Ukrainians who are fighting for their freedom and democracy,” the ex-president emphasized.
Obama also warned that refusing to support partners and making concessions to an aggressor contradicts basic American values. In his opinion, such a policy weakens global security and the US position on the international stage.
Recall, former US President Bill Clinton accused Donald Trump of refusing to support Ukraine and getting closer to Vladimir Putin . He also criticized the foreign policy of the current American administration and its attitude towards allies.
