Knife in the neck: a military CCC officer was attacked in Cherkasy region

In the Cherkasy region, a serviceman of the CCC was stabbed while performing his duties.

This is reported by the Cherkasy Regional CCC.

The incident occurred on January 28 in the Uman district. A group of military personnel from the CCC and the SP were conducting a military conscription awareness event. At that moment, a local resident approached them, who was aggressive, and stabbed one of the soldiers in the neck.

“The knife did not hit the carotid artery. The brothers who were nearby immediately detained the attacker and handed him over to law enforcement,” the CCK noted.

The wounded serviceman was quickly taken to the hospital. Doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance. The leadership of the regional CCC and the SP is keeping the situation under control.

The CCC noted that the wounded soldier fought in the Armed Forces from the first hours of the full-scale invasion. He participated in battles in the Chernihiv and Donetsk regions, was wounded twice and has a state award – the Order “For Courage”. After combat service, he continued to work in the rear.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the attack.

As previously reported, on January 14, in the Lviv region, a car driver committed a shooting, firing several shots at a car of representatives of the territorial procurement center.
