Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov “minted” $4 billion in crypto – former partner of the oligarchs
Oleksiy Martynov, a former business partner of Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov in the Privat Group , reported that after the nationalization of PrivatBank, the scandalous oligarchs launched a crypto farm in Georgia and “mined” $4 billion in cryptocurrency.
Martynov publicly appealed to the Prosecutor General with a statement regarding the confiscation of this money.
“I am turning to the Prosecutor General again. According to my information, after the nationalization of PrivatBank, Bogolyubov and Kolomoisky made the main conclusion – you can’t keep money in the bank, even in your own. From 2017 to 2020, they launched a giant crypto farm on the basis of the Zestafon Ferroalloy Plant in Georgia. The place was chosen very well – the property included not only the plant, but also a mountain hydroelectric power station, which provided the gigafarm with virtually free electricity. The business was so profitable that the plant was stopped, and all the electricity was used for bitcoin mining,” Martynov writes.
“And now to the point. You, Mr. Prosecutor General, need to interrogate, within the framework of international cooperation, two American citizens and part-time “pounds” of Bogolyubov — Motya Korf and Uri Leiber, as well as a partner in the plant, Georgy Kopanadze, who now lives in the European Union. Kolomoisky himself was forced to tell about this in a London court, but significantly downplayed the scale,” states Martynov.
“According to my information, the total crypto assets of Bogolyubov and Kolomoisky are now about $4 billion. It is quite possible that the bitcoins mined on the gigafarm left a trace in the crypto network. I am sure that American crypto experts will be able to find these assets and return them to Ukraine. I am also ready to provide Ukrainian prosecutors with a list of mining accomplices who are currently on the territory of Ukraine,” the former business partner of the oligarchs added.
