Kostyantynivka, in the Donetsk region, is on the verge of a humanitarian disaster due to the lack of water and gas supplies.
This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
According to him, almost half of the city is without electricity due to shelling. In one district, almost 2,000 houses are without gas, and it is not yet possible to restore the supply.
It is noted that water supply occurs once a day from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This only covers a quarter of the city’s water needs.
“Due to drone strikes, city bus traffic has been canceled. The suburban route to neighboring Druzhkivka is operating on a limited basis,” Filashkin noted.
The city has 7 reservoirs and 11 water tanks, 12 wells, 6 of which are treated, and 5 Indestructibility Points.
Filashkin noted that the Russians are systematically destroying the city’s critical infrastructure. Despite this, doctors, utility workers, police, and authorities are working in the city.
We remind you that the day before, Russian invaders captured the village of Novomykhaylivka, located in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region. In addition, active fighting continues on the fronts in the Sumy, Luhansk, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, and the enemy has made some progress in advancing.
