Kremlin alarm: why Putin really wants secret talks

The loud statements of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin about military successes made at the CSTO summit are part of an informational and psychological special operation and indicate the Russian army’s need for a break.
This opinion was expressed on the air of “Pryamoy” by Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army.
According to him, these messages are aimed not so much at the domestic audience as at Ukraine’s Western partners, in particular the United States. In this way, the Kremlin is trying to persuade the world to negotiate on its terms, creating the illusion of Ukraine’s inevitable defeat. Bratchuk believes that behind the aggressive rhetoric lies a desire to get a pause in hostilities.
“All this talk about so-called negotiations, about how they’re going to put pressure on everyone here and conquer everyone – these are just signals that let’s sit down at the negotiating table. You want things to be better, for the war to end,” explained Bratchuk.
He also drew attention to numerous inaccuracies in Putin’s speech, such as the mention of the non-existent city of Komsomolsk, which demonstrates his detachment from the real situation. Despite the enemy’s superiority in aviation and manpower, this does not guarantee him a quick advance and capture of the Donetsk region or other territories, – emphasizes Bratchuk.
Recently, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced that an American delegation would be coming to Moscow to negotiate a so-called “peace plan.” He claims that the US and Ukraine, after their meetings in Geneva, had prepared a list of 28 points and divided them into four blocks.
It later emerged that Putin plans to meet with US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff before his state visit to India. The talks are expected to take place on December 4 or 5 , but the exact date has not yet been announced.
At the same time, according to American media, US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff allegedly convinced Ukrainian representatives to ask the United States for zero tariffs in exchange for Tomahawk missiles . According to sources, this proposal was made in October, when the White House was considering the possibility of transferring these missiles to Ukraine.
