Kubrakov became a freelance adviser to Zelensky.
Alexander Kubrakov has become a freelance adviser to the president on infrastructure.
Former Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov has been appointed as an adjunct adviser to the President of Ukraine on infrastructure and community engagement. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of state.
As a reminder, in May 2024, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Kubrakov from his post as Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure. Following this, the government decided to split the ministry into two separate ministries – the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories and the Ministry of Infrastructure.
In January 2025, Kubrakov also received a new role in government: then-Defense Minister Rustem Umerov appointed him as his advisor on a voluntary basis.
