Axios writes about this.
According to the publication’s source, Kushner “spoke very directly” about the need to stop attacks on the oil refineries.
In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reiterated his readiness to cease attacks on Russian oil refineries if Russia takes appropriate steps.
It was previously reported that Ukraine would resume attacks on Russian oil refineries because Moscow had not ceased its strikes on the Ukrainian energy sector. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this after a three-day pause, which Kyiv observed at the request of the United States.
Furthermore, on the night of October 14, Ukrainian military personnel recorded limitations in the Starlink satellite communications system, specifically the Starshield system. The communication disruptions made it more difficult for the Defense Forces to control drones, and some combat missions had to be cancelled.
The Ministry of Defense later reported that Starshield satellite communications had resumed and were gradually improving. The Defense Ministry is continuing to investigate the causes of the restrictions that arose yesterday and is testing the system’s performance at the front.
However, the Trump administration denies any involvement in the restrictions on Starlink operations in Ukraine. Washington stated that it would contact SpaceX to determine the cause of the problems.
