Kyiv announced the end date of the heating season.

On Tuesday, March 24, the heating season officially ends in Kyiv .

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration .

Residential buildings will be disconnected starting today. At the same time, social institutions—hospitals, maternity hospitals, schools, and kindergartens—will be disconnected from heat based on individual requests from their managers.

City authorities explained that the decision was made due to rising temperatures and to promote rational use of energy resources.

Typically, the heating season in the capital ends when the average daily air temperature exceeds +8°C for several days.
