Kyiv City Council deputies from the EU handed over 300 gas burners to Kyiv residents and services dealing with the consequences of shelling

Kyiv City Council deputies from the European Solidarity faction are handing over 300 gas burners to residents of the capital and services working at the sites of the shelling.

“When there is no heat and light in homes, you especially acutely understand the price of simple things – the ability to stay warm, cook food, and support loved ones. After massive enemy attacks, thousands of Kyiv residents in different areas of the capital were left without electricity, water, and heating. At such moments, help should not be declarative, but quick and practical,” wrote Maryna Poroshenko, the leader of Eurosolidarity in the Kyiv City Council, on social networks.

The gas burners will be given to residents of several districts of Kyiv that have suffered the most from power and heat outages. In addition, some of the equipment will be given to utility services and emergency response centers.

“For us, supporting the people of Kyiv is not a one-time initiative. It is constant work and a responsibility to be there when it is really needed. The capital is once again going through a difficult test. And it is on such days that it is especially important to stick together – not with words, but with concrete actions,” emphasizes Maryna Poroshenko.
