Kyiv Declares August 29 a Day of Mourning for Those Killed in Russian Attack

In Kyiv, August 29 was declared a Day of Mourning for those killed in the massive Russian night attack.

This was reported by the city mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Tomorrow, August 29, has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv. In memory of the victims of the enemy’s massive attack on the capital,” he noted.

On this day, flags will be lowered on all municipal buildings in the city. It was also recommended to lower state flags on state and private buildings.

On August 29, any entertainment events are prohibited in Kyiv.

Let us recall that on the night of August 28, Russian infidels carried out a drone-missile attack on Ukraine and launched 629 air attack weapons . Air defense neutralized 589 targets.

Also on the night of August 28, Kiev was subjected to one of the largest attacks in recent months . Russian troops simultaneously used attack drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as hypersonic “Kinzhals”, which led to large-scale destruction in several areas of the city. By the morning, four people were reported dead, including two children, and more than two dozen people were injured.

It later became known that as a result of Russian shelling on August 28, the number of people killed in Kiev rose to 12 , including children.
