Kyiv is preparing for a power outage: how many generators and diesel boilers have been installed in the city

Kyiv is actively preparing for large-scale power outages, in particular, generators and diesel boilers have already been installed in the city.

This was the response provided by the Kyiv City State Administration to the official request of “Pryamoy”.

“To ensure its own needs and the operation of heat sources and pumping stations in the event of blackouts, the KP “KYIVTEPLOENERGO” has installed more than 200 generators and 51 units of transportable diesel boiler rooms,” the Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure reported.

Currently, employees of DTEK KYIV ELECTRIC NETWORKS are taking the necessary measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the capital.

Specialists also ensure the stable functioning of municipal facilities, and emergency and restoration work is promptly carried out on facilities damaged due to Russian aggression.

We remind you that in order to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, work is underway to create energy islands in the city .
