Kyiv Metro will operate on a modified schedule on January 1 and 2

In Kyiv, the train schedule on all three metro lines will be temporarily changed. In particular, on January 1 and 2, 2026, the train intervals will be increased.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Metro.

They explained that such changes are related to the predicted decrease in passenger traffic on these days.

During the morning rush hour on January 1, train intervals will be 3-4 minutes. After the rush hour and throughout the day, train waiting times will be about 5-6 minutes.

On Friday, January 2, trains will run every 3-4 minutes during morning and evening rush hours.

On January 3 and 4, the usual weekend train schedules will be in effect – 6-7 minutes.
