Kyiv residents as a bargaining chip: what’s happening in the capital of Ukraine

It is so outrageous that Zelensky is using Kyiv residents as bargaining chips in his political fight against Klitschko.
The capital had just survived a cold and dark winter, the energy situation was one of the worst in Ukraine, but Kyiv became the only city that the National Security and Defense Council, led by Zelensky, denied a resilience plan for the coming winter.
The only one!
That is, let the people of Kyiv continue to freeze and sit without electricity, the main thing is that all this public media nonsense has a reason to trample on the mayor of Kyiv, whom the presidential gang cannot push out, as it has already done in other cities.
That is, constantly taking additional billions from the capital to the budget is no problem, but the government won’t help Kyiv prepare for the cold weather? A kind of “justice” a la Ze.
I will now explain in a few words why Kyiv will not be able to do everything on its own.
1) Kyiv has never had enough of its own CHPs. Electricity comes to the capital from nuclear power plants. Energy distribution nodes are located in the region and belong to Ukrenergo, so the city cannot do anything there. And we see how they “protected” energy facilities – it was they that the rioters attacked in order to cut off power to Kyiv. They succeeded. If the capital’s CHPs were destroyed, trouble would have come. Without the protection of these entry points to the capital, the trouble would continue, and here it is the sphere of the government, without it there is no way.
2) Cogeneration. It was necessary to prepare gas, electric and heat networks for connecting electricity and heat generation plants yesterday. What the former Minister of Energy and Justice Herman Galushchenko sabotaged, he is happy with. This is such a large-scale work for a city of 3.5 million residents that no utility system in the world can cope with such a task on its own. But the government and Zelenskyy do not pay attention to this. They have an excuse – they do not like Kyiv’s plan. The only one of all. Why? Because gladiolus, that’s why!
This is one of the most cynical actions of the government led by Zelensky, when they are ready to take the entire capital hostage for the sake of a personal political struggle. And the “dear Ukrainians” to whom the president addresses every evening should remember that we are all not really dear to him.
