Kyiv to shorten curfew

Kyiv will shorten its curfew. The Kyiv Defense Council made the decision today in accordance with a government resolution and city initiatives for managing public services amid the deteriorating security situation.

The mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko, announced this.

Starting at 12:00 AM on September 10, the curfew in Kyiv will be extended from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM, reducing its duration by one hour.

Due to the changes, public transport in the capital will also continue to operate for an hour.

At the same time, the operating hours of catering establishments, entertainment venues, and shopping and entertainment centers will remain unchanged.

It is also stated that from September 3, during the curfew in Kyiv, the movement of large-sized transit vehicles is permitted.

In addition, due to frequent train delays, the city is organizing four bus routes to transport passengers from the central railway station during the curfew.
