Kyiv under threat from attack UAVs: air defense is working

Enemy drones have been spotted in the airspace of the Kyiv region, and air defense units are conducting combat operations.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

The report notes that air defense forces are destroying air targets.

Residents of the region are urged not to disseminate any information about the work of Ukrainian defenders, to refrain from taking photos and videos, and to adhere to the information silence regime.

Separately, the head of the KMVA, Timur Tkachenko, and Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on the air defense activity in the capital. They appealed to Kyiv residents to remain in shelters until the alarm is lifted.

As you know, an air alert was previously declared in Kyiv and most regions of Ukraine due to the threat of strikes by Russian drones.

On the night of December 23, Russian drones were already making massive flights over eastern, northern, and southern regions of Ukraine. At around 2 a.m., the alarm signal sounded in Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odessa regions.

In addition, the potential threat of the use of strike drones was also recorded in parts of the Kyiv region.
