On October 20, Kyiv metro trains resumed service on the red line between the Akademgorodok and Lesnaya stations. Meanwhile, the Chernigivska station is temporarily closed to passengers.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

The Kyiv City State Administration noted that trains are once again running along the entire section between Akademgorodok and Lesnaya. Lesnaya has also resumed normal operations.

Trains pass by Chernigivska station without stopping. Its service was suspended due to damage from the Russian attack.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, more than 70 specialists from various Kyiv Metro services have been deployed to deal with the aftermath of the massive shelling. Passengers will be notified later about the resumption of service at the Chernigivska station.
