Military exercises will be held in Poland from July 20, with sirens sounding across the country as part of a nationwide alert drill.

RMF24 reports this.

Polish Army training will continue until the end of July in Opole, Zawadzki, and Turawa. During this period, soldiers, patrols, and military equipment will travel along the region’s forest roads.

Local residents and tourists are asked not to photograph the military or post these images on social media.

They also called for calm, as these exercises are purely planned and do not pose a threat.

Additionally, the country will conduct a large-scale test of its warning systems, codenamed ALARM 2026, which will simulate the threat of an air strike. The sirens will sound on July 21.

Residents are warned of two types of signals: a three-minute intermittent sound means the alarm has been sounded, and a continuous signal of the same duration means the alarm has been cleared.

The military stressed that there is currently “no reason for concern” in Poland.
