Fury’s Final Shot: Usyk Rematch Set for April 2026

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has confirmed he will face Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk for a third time in April 2026.

He wrote about this on his Instagram page.

Fury published an announcement of the fight with Usyk, even naming the date and venue of the bout.

“London, April 18, 2026. Wembley Stadium. Trilogy,” the British boxer wrote.

As a reminder, Usyk defeated Fury twice last year — first by split decision, then by unanimous decision.

After his second loss to the Ukrainian, Fury announced his retirement from boxing. However, he later stated that he was ready to return to the ring for a rematch with Usyk.

As reported, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk was recognized as the best boxer of 2024 according to the specialized publication The Ring.

By the way, Oleksandr Usyk and British IBF heavyweight titleholder Daniel Dubois will hold a heavyweight championship rematch on July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London.

It was previously reported that Usyk will end his boxing career after his last two fights with Daniel Dubois and Tyson Fury.
