Latvia approved a new aid package for Ukraine: what will the funds be used for?

The Latvian government has approved a new support package for Ukraine worth 6.8 million euros.

This was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Baiba Brazhe, on the social network X.

According to her, the funds will be used to strengthen the energy system, develop infrastructure, provide shelter, and strengthen social and civic resilience. Particular attention will be paid to developing the capabilities of drones.

Braže emphasized that Latvia will continue to support Ukraine.

As previously reported, Bulgaria in February approved the 13th package of military aid to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Recall that Spain will transfer additional missiles to Ukraine for Patriot air defense systems.
