Latvia handed over 21 Patria 6×6 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. The vehicles were handed over at the Adazi military base in Riga.

This was announced by Defense Minister Denis Shmyhal.

According to Shmygal, such vehicles will immediately be put into service with special operations forces.

“In total, we received all 42 armored vehicles promised by 2025 – thank you for that. Furthermore, the Latvians have given us another 12 CVR(T) combat reconnaissance vehicles, which are part of the previously announced military aid package,” he wrote.
