As part of the investigation, police conducted more than 25 searches of administrative buildings and residences of the defendants. Law enforcement officers seized documents, computer equipment, mobile phones, and black notes.
As a reminder, on September 30 , a nighttime downpour caused significant street flooding and disruptions to public transport in Odessa .
It has become known that ten people, including an 8-year-old girl, died in Odessa due to heavy rains and large-scale flooding .
It’s worth noting that the downpour in Odessa was triggered by a localized cyclone over the Black Sea , whose northward and eastward movement was blocked by an anticyclone. This led to the intensification of atmospheric fronts and record-breaking rainfall.
