Hossein Mohebbi, a spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said Iran was ready to strike new American targets in the Middle East if the US resumed attacks. He said Iran also has new weapons that have not yet been used.

“Any future confrontation will involve a changed geography of war, as well as the use of new weapons and new capabilities that will surprise the world,” Mohebbi said.
He noted that changing the geography of the war would mean Tehran choosing other targets for attacks than those it has already struck.
“Our targets will also no longer be the same. We have new targets that have not yet been struck. Iran developed powerful weapons during and before the war that have not yet been used, these are strategic assets that will be used if necessary,” Mohebbi noted.
The IRGC spokesman also denied any official or unofficial contacts between the Corps and the U.S. He said that according to the Iranian Constitution, the IRGC performs military functions, while diplomatic matters fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The IRGC has never had official or unofficial relations with the US and has no intention of engaging in diplomatic matters,” Mohebbi stressed.
Recall that Iran this year asked Russia to provide advanced Geran strike drones. Tehran wanted to use them in a war against the United States and Israel.
