Level 1 alert: Forecasters warn of significant deterioration in weather conditions

On Wednesday, May 20, forecasters predict thunderstorms, hail, strong winds, and rain. A Level 1 warning has been issued for almost all regions.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center .
Bad weather will prevail over most of Ukraine.
“In the southern, central (except Poltava) and Zhytomyr regions, in some areas, there will be hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s,” forecasters report.
Thunderstorms are expected in all regions except the western oblasts. Due to worsening weather conditions, a Level 1 alert has been issued, except for the Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi oblasts.
Today in Ukraine, partly cloudy skies are expected. Moderate rain is expected.
In the south and most central regions, significant rainfall, hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s are forecast.
Winds will be predominantly northerly, 5-10 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from 22°C to 27°C, with cooler highs in the west, reaching 18°C to 23°C.
Kyiv will see partly cloudy skies today. Rain and thunderstorms are possible. North winds will blow at 5-10 m/s. Temperatures will be around 15°C overnight and 23°C to 25°C during the day.
