Lightning struck seven people near a pond in Volyn.

In Volyn, seven people, including four minors, were injured by lightning strikes near a body of water. All lost consciousness and were hospitalized.

The incident occurred on June 29 in the village of Ozero in the Lutsk district. Lightning struck near a body of water, causing seven people to lose consciousness.

Police and paramedics quickly arrived at the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital, and law enforcement officers helped transfer people to ambulances, interviewed witnesses, and documented the circumstances of the incident.

In addition, due to inclement weather, police officers worked in the Lutsk and Kovel districts, where strong winds and heavy rain damaged buildings and vehicles.

Police have urged citizens to observe safety precautions during thunderstorms.
