Logistics are complicated, but Ukrainian units are holding their positions: what is happening in the Pokrovsk area

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are destroying the intentions of the Russian occupiers to block the land connection between the cities of Myrnograd and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the press service of the Group of Forces “East”.
As noted, logistics to Myrnograd remain complicated, but are being carried out in full. Ukrainian defenders hold certain positions in the city.
The enemy’s tactics in the Pokrovsk area consist of assaults by small infantry groups. In particular, they are carried out from the direction of the settlement of Novoekonomichne.
According to the group, the Defense Forces detect enemy attack attempts in time – fire is fired and the occupiers are neutralized.
“Some of the enemy attack aircraft are saving their lives by surrendering. For example, the day before, marines captured four Russian occupiers in this area,” the press service explained.
At the same time, the enemy’s attempts to advance south of Myrnograd are being blocked. Ukrainian units are destroying Russian attack aircraft on the approaches to the city.
“The defense forces are carrying out comprehensive measures to effectively fire at the enemy and exhaust its reserves,” the military noted.
They added that in Pokrovsk, Ukrainian defenders are preventing the Russians from gaining a foothold and are carrying out work to eliminate the enemy in the city. In addition, the Defense Forces are cutting off the enemy’s logistical routes on the approaches to the settlement.
As a reminder,Russian troops are increasing pressure on the Donetsk region and want to surround Myrnograd . They are moving towards the settlements of Rivne and Svitle, trying to enter the city’s rear.
As is known, the Myrnograd Defense Forces are experiencing pressure from three directions every day – south, north, and east. New Russian groups are appearing on the southern outskirts, but so far without stable entrenchments.
