Lucasfilm has released the first trailer for the feature-length film “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” a direct sequel to the popular Disney+ series “The Mandalorian” from the Star Wars universe.
The film is scheduled to premiere on May 22, 2026.
The film’s plot is currently being kept under wraps, but it’s already known that events will unfold sometime after the finale of The Mandalorian’s third season. The trailer shows baby Grog now an adult and more actively participating in adventures alongside the lone bounty hunter Din Djarin.
The upcoming film was directed by series creator Jon Favreau, and he wrote the script in collaboration with Dave Filoni.
