Self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko ordered a large-scale troop inspection, including mobilization exercises. At the same time, he stated that the Belarusian army does not intend to attack neighboring countries.

This was reported by Lukashenko’s official website.

According to him, an artillery brigade is currently being inspected. Previously, tank and motorized rifle units were inspected.

“The army needs to be shaken down, it’s time. The entire army. We’ll check everyone. Right up to mobilization,” Lukashenko declared.

He emphasized that during the inspections, the military practices actions based on real war scenarios.

“We’re doing everything as we would during a war. We’re preparing for war so that it doesn’t happen,” the Belarusian leader said.

At the same time, Lukashenko assured that Belarus does not plan to attack Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, or Ukraine.

“We are preparing for any war in order to avoid it – a simple and clear formula,” he said.

As a reminder, self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko ordered an inspection of the Belarusian army’s combat readiness on August 26.
