Lukashenko pardons 20 political prisoners

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree pardoning 22 people, including 20 political prisoners.

This was announced on the Belarusian propaganda Telegram channel Pool of the First.

Self-proclaimed head of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on pardoning 22 people before the New Year, 20 of whom were convicted under so-called “extremist” articles. Among those released are 15 women and seven men.

The names of those released are not yet known.

“They all appealed to the head of state with requests for pardon, admitted their guilt and repented of their actions,” the report says.

We will remind you that on November 22, 31 people who were detained and convicted in Belarus were returned to Ukraine .

Earlier it became known that Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 31 Ukrainian citizens imprisoned in Belarus.
