Magnetic storms are preparing a surprise: what to expect for Earth in the coming days

Today, September 27, a mostly calm geomagnetic environment is expected – disturbances will be weak or moderate.
As reported by meteoagents , a serious magnetic storm (G1 and higher) is not forecast, but isolated short-term intensifications and minor interference in radio communications are possible.
In turn, the British Geological Survey warns that geomagnetic activity will increase on September 28, and a magnetic storm is possible on the 29th.
Geomagnetic conditions are currently calm, with slightly elevated solar wind speeds, but the influence of coronal holes has diminished. Winds from two coronal holes are expected to increase further on September 28th. This could lead to some geomagnetic activity on the 29th.
