Magnetic storms are returning: scientists warn of a new blow to Earth

After several days of calm, the geomagnetic situation on Earth will begin to deteriorate again. In the coming days, a new magnetic storm will hit the planet, lasting at least two days.
This was reported by the British Geological Survey.
According to experts, in recent days the Earth’s magnetic field has remained stable, and solar activity has not caused significant geomagnetic disturbances. Currently, the speed of the solar wind is only slightly higher than background indicators.
However, the situation will change soon. A high-speed stream of charged particles from a coronal hole on the Sun is approaching the Earth, which will provoke a G1-level magnetic storm.

According to British scientists, the geomagnetic disturbance will last for at least two days. Magnetic storms of this level are considered weak, but they can cause deterioration of well-being, headaches, fatigue, and sleep disturbances in weather-dependent people.
