Magnetic storms in July: when to expect surges in solar activity

Several magnetic storms are expected on Earth throughout July. The month begins with a powerful storm.

A strong magnetic storm of STORM G1 level is forecast there in early July. In the future, minor geomagnetic disturbances with minimal impact on the Earth are expected. From July 11 to 12 and from 15 to 16, a short-term storm will also occur on the 22nd.

However, a powerful magnetic storm will cover the Earth on July 23 and 34. These days, there may again be a STORM G1 level magnetic storm.

The British Geological Survey Geomagnetism reported that two coronal mass ejections occurred on the Sun the other day, and their impact will increase solar activity.

A powerful STORM G2-level magnetic storm will affect the Earth on July 1, 2, and 3, and on July 4 it will weaken to STORM G1 level.

It is worth noting that the G-index describes the strength of a geomagnetic storm from 1 to 5 and corresponds to the K-index if 4 is added.

Doctors advise drinking at least 1.5-2 liters of clean water per day and avoiding stress.
