Hungary and Ukraine have officially signed an agreement on the educational, cultural, linguistic and political rights of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia.
This was announced by Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar on the social network X.
“The historic agreement between Hungary and Ukraine on the educational, cultural, linguistic and political rights of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia is now official,” wrote Magyar
According to him, the Ukrainian side, in an official diplomatic note, undertook to implement all provisions of the agreement, and also included them in the action plan for minorities within the framework of the European integration process.
“In just a few weeks, we were able to solve a problem that the Orbán government failed to deal with in 10 years,” Magyar added.
Recall, earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar stated that his country is ready to become a venue for possible negotiations between Ukraine and Russia .
