Man sentenced for attacking CCC car with tractor in Rivne region

A court in the Rivne region has sentenced a man who rammed a TCC vehicle with a tractor and attacked servicemen. As a result of the incident, one of the servicemen suffered a broken arm.
This is stated in the verdict of the Dubrovytskyi District Court of the Rivne region.
The incident occurred on March 28, 2025 near the village of Zagreblja, Sarna district. According to the investigation, the CCC servicemen, together with a policewoman, were conducting alert measures and checking the military registration documents of the men they noticed in the field.
As the group was returning to the village in a company Nissan X-Trail, a tractor drove up to meet them. As the court found, its driver deliberately crashed into the CCC vehicle several times, and then tried to push it into a ditch.
The man then got out of the tractor and attacked the soldiers. He hit the platoon commander in the arm with a wooden plank, causing a fracture to his elbow. The attacker punched another soldier several times.
The damage to the company car was estimated at more than 80 thousand hryvnias.
During the trial, the accused pleaded guilty and repented. The court took into account that he had no previous convictions, had a positive reputation, and had partially compensated for the damage caused.
As a result, the man was found guilty of intentionally causing bodily harm to officials in connection with the performance of their official duties. He was sentenced to three years of restricted liberty, but was released from serving the sentence with a probationary period of one year.
In addition, the bail in the amount of over 60 thousand hryvnias will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the verdict becomes legally binding.
