Mandatory evacuation announced due to fighting in Dnipropetrovsk region

In the Synelnyky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, a mandatory evacuation of residents of a number of settlements was announced due to active hostilities.

This was reported by the Pokrovska territorial community.

The decision was made in accordance with the protocols of the district coordination headquarters and the district evacuation commission at the end of December. The evacuation will be carried out from settlements where there is an increased threat to the life and safety of the civilian population.

The mandatory evacuation applies to the village of Pokrovske and dozens of villages in the Synelnyky district, including Andriivka, Bogodarivka, Bratske, Vyshneve, Otradny, Vilny, Gerasymivka, Danylivka, Dibrova, Dobropasovye, Yehorivka, Zelena Dolyna, Kyrychkovye, Kolomiytsev, Malynivka, Mayak, Mechetny, Novooleksandrivka, Oleksandrivka, Oleksiivka, Pryvillye, Radisne, Solony, Tykhy, Khrystoforivka and other settlements in the community.

The evacuation will be carried out for 30 days, starting on December 29. The village of Voloske, Dniprovskyi district, Dnipropetrovsk region, has been designated as a transit point.

The community emphasized that after the evacuation is complete, they will cease providing medical, social, administrative, and some utility services. The authorities emphasize that all evacuation assistance is provided free of charge.

As previously reported, the Chernihiv region is introducing mandatory evacuation of residents from 14 settlements located near the state border.
