In addition, the evacuation of children from institutional care facilities in Zaporizhia region, located within approximately 50 kilometers of the combat line, has been approved. The relocation will be carried out in compliance with safety rules, taking into account the health of the children and ensuring the necessary medical support.
During the meeting, the work of transit centers for evacuees and the possibility of opening an additional center in the Kharkiv region were also discussed.
According to the ministry, since June 1, 2025, almost 124 thousand people have been evacuated from the frontline territories of Ukraine to safer regions, including more than 14.5 thousand children and more than 4 thousand people with limited mobility.
