Manpower and armored vehicles: a large transfer of Russian troops was noticed in Mariupol

Russian troops carried out a large-scale troop movement through occupied Mariupol on June 26. The movement of equipment and manpower was recorded in several directions at once.

This was stated by the head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation, Petro Andryuschenko.

“About 7 platforms with armored vehicles, including tanks, passed along the Rostov – Novoazovsk – Mariupol – Pologov or Berdyansk directions. More than 40 trucks with manpower and armored personnel carriers,” Andryuschenko noted.

It is also noted that a convoy of over 20 trucks with manpower and about 5 tractors with armored vehicles such as BMP or BMD were noticed moving from Crimea or Kherson through Mariupol.

“Against the backdrop of a decrease in the activity of offensive actions on one side and the successful actions of the Defense Forces in the Zaporizhia region, we can predict an increase in assault attempts in the area of Hulyaipol and Orikhiv in the coming days,” Andryuschenko noted.

The head of the Center for the Study of Occupation emphasized that the strengthening of the Russians requires careful monitoring, as such actions indicate a potential activation of the enemy in the southern direction.

It was previously reported that a new wave of repressions is unfolding in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine against those who remain loyal to Ukrainian citizenship .
