Manufactured components for missiles and aviation: drones attacked the Progress plant in the Tambov region

On the night of Tuesday, June 17, drones attacked the city of Michurinsk in the Tambov region of the Russian Federation. The Progress plant was probably hit.

It is known from open sources that Progress is one of the key elements of the Russian military-industrial complex. It specializes in the production of high-tech equipment for guidance and control systems for aviation and missile technology, the plant’s products are used in Russian MLRS, artillery, aircraft and helicopters.

In addition, residents of Kotovsk also complained about powerful explosions.

Russian media reported the closure of the airport.

The Russian Ministry of Defense traditionally announced the shooting down and interception of all drones.

Attacks were recorded in a number of regions: the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, Tula regions, as well as the Moscow region, were hit.

As a reminder, the Nevinnomyssk Azot chemical plant, a facility of critical importance for the Russian military-industrial complex, was attacked in the Stavropol Territory of Russia .

As reported, on Sunday, June 15, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck an important facility of the Russian military-industrial complex – a plant for the production of attack drones in the city of Yelabuga in Tatarstan.
