Manufacturers of Iskanders and drones: Ukraine has imposed new sanctions against the Russian military-industrial complex

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has put into effect a decision of the National Security and Defense Council on new sanctions against the Russian military-industrial complex. The sanctions list includes 23 companies and 20 individuals associated with them.
This is stated on the website of the President of Ukraine.
The new restrictions apply to enterprises that produce or supply equipment, components, and technologies for the Russian military-industrial complex and law enforcement agencies, including in circumvention of international sanctions.
Among the companies subject to sanctions is Kidma Tech, which manufactures optical devices, air defense systems, and multiple launch rocket systems, as well as repairs aircraft and anti-tank guided missiles.
The list also includes the Morozov Plant, which is part of the sanctioned Rostec state corporation. The enterprise produces explosives, rocket fuel, and components for missile systems, including solid-fuel charges for Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
In addition, sanctions were imposed against the company “Spetselektronkomplekt”, which is involved in the production of guided aircraft missiles, as well as the company “Aurum”, which supplies drones and electronic warfare systems to the Russian army.
Russian IT companies that develop digital solutions and software for state bodies and private structures in the Russian Federation have also been subject to restrictions.
Presidential Advisor for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasyuk noted that every enterprise that loses access to components, technologies, or financing will produce fewer missiles, drones, and other weapons for war.
As reported, a group of US senators announced that they had agreed with the Donald Trump administration on a bill on “hellish sanctions” against Russia.
As a reminder, the US Senate held a procedural vote on Tuesday, July 28, on a bill to tighten sanctions against Russia. The document, co-authored by Senator Lindsey Graham, may be put to a final vote as early as next week.
