Formula 1 specialists have begun to en masse join UFORCE, a company developing and manufacturing MAGURA marine drones.
UFORCE CEO Oleg Roginsky spoke about this in an interview with DOU.
He said the company is attracting engineers from Formula 1 because their experience aligns with a number of UFORCE’s technological challenges.
In particular, this concerns working with composite materials and carbon, sensors, as well as the optimization of electric and conventional engines.
Roginsky noted that an important advantage of such specialists is their experience in maximizing the weight of structures and increasing their reliability.
“The main thing is that they know how to squeeze every gram of excess weight out of the system and make it as reliable as possible in their usual rhythm, where everything needs to be redone and improved ‘for tomorrow,’” said UFORCE’s CEO.
He added that the combination of Formula 1 engineers’ experience and Ukrainian specialists allows the company to work on new technological solutions for the defense industry.
According to Roginsky, UFORCE currently has over a thousand employees, and its primary focus remains in Ukraine. The company also has R&D centers in the UK and the US.
