On Monday, April 27, the 1/8 final match of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid will take place between the second racket of Ukraine, Marta Kostyuk (WTA 23), and American Catie McNally (WTA 76).
The fight will start at 20:00 Kyiv time.
The Ukrainian is in excellent form. She recently won the trophy in Rouen, and in the previous round of the tournament in Madrid, she defeated world number five Jessica Pegula 6-1, 6-4.
Marta Kostyuk’s opponent, Katie McNally, is certainly inferior in class, although she beat the experienced Czech Ekaterina Siniakova in the previous round – 6:3, 2:6, 7:6.
It won’t be an easy walk for Martha, but we’re still betting on her.
